Clay Club!

PES CLAY CLUB!
An awesome aspect of the Maker Space are the projects that students suggest. Some we can do, some we can't, and some we keep stored away for a better time.

The first ever Clay Club session (Check out the Manu Tukutuku kites in the background!)

The Clay Club is an awesome example of students who thought of a great idea, and kept persisting until it happened. This club has started with 20kgs of clay, a positive attitude and plenty of creativity.

  7. Kia ora Clay Club members,
I can't wait to see what you can create with 20kg of clay! Do you know of a local potter with a kiln to fire your creations? Keep sharing your learning.

  8. Kia ora Clay Club,
Thank you for inviting me into your club yesterday, I really enjoyed talking to you about clay and playing with it. All that slip you made was superb.
Here is my site so you can check out some of my art classes from the USA https://sites.google.com/a/pacificu.edu/teacher-leah-white/
I still need to work out some technical problems with the photos but they should be up in the next day or two.
