Last week a group from Team Five had the opportunity to take the ferry to visit the Headland Sculpture on the Gulf on Waiheke Island.
Thanks so much to our wonderful guide, Charlotte who invited us to the island, led us through the hills and helped us explore the amazing sculptures.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Tania and I am one of the Manaiakalani Outreach Facilitators. I live in Whangarei, just a couple of hours North of where you live in Auckland. Have any of you ever been to Whangarei or the top of the North Island? I am lucky enough to be organising Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu so will be able to check out your MakerSpace blog regularly and leave you comments. It was great to see a video clip of your trip to the Waiheke Island Art Sculptures. The sea looked a little rough. Was it a bumpy trip? Your video clip inspired me to visit Waiheke Island while the art sculpture is on. Well done on putting together such a great video clip and asking the weaver you interviewed good questions. Keep up the great sharing.
Tania
